How much does a notarization cost in Florida?
Florida law caps the fee at 10 dollars per notarial act (Florida Statutes 117.05). If you need the notary to travel to you, the travel fee is separate and has to be agreed in advance.
What do I need to bring to have a document notarized?
A valid government-issued photo ID, the document unsigned (you sign it in front of the notary), and every person who has to sign present at the same time. If you are not sure your ID is acceptable, call us before you come.
Can you notarize a document written in Spanish?
Yes. We work in English and Spanish, so you understand exactly what you are signing.
Will my Florida notarization be accepted in another state or country?
A document notarized in Florida is generally accepted in other US states. If it is going to be used abroad, it usually needs an apostille from the Florida Department of State, which is a separate step after the notarization. Bring us the document and we will tell you which one you need.
