Frequently Asked Questions

When can I enroll in Obamacare in Florida?

Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs from November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027. To have your coverage start on January 1, you need to enroll by December 15, 2026. Outside those dates you can still enroll if you have a qualifying life event, such as losing job-based coverage, moving, getting married or having a baby.

Do you charge for an Obamacare quote?

No. Quotes are free, and we walk you through what each plan actually covers, including the deductible, the network and what you would pay out of pocket, before you decide.

What is the difference between health insurance and life insurance?

Health insurance covers your medical care while you are alive: doctor visits, hospital stays, prescriptions. Life insurance pays a benefit to the people who depend on you if you die. They solve different problems, and most families need both.

Does my health insurance affect my tax return?

Yes, if you bought it through the Marketplace. You will receive Form 1095-A, and your return has to reconcile the subsidy you received against your actual income for the year. If your income changed during the year, this is where it shows up, which is exactly why handling your insurance and your tax preparation in the same place saves you trouble.
